Sankrati – kite fest

Makar Sankrati an Indian Kite Festival is like a Yamraj (gods agent who comes to take ur soul ) for the birds , who just die because of our pleasure .Indians compete in kite festival on size of kite and the strenght of their glass fixed manja (thread), which is used to cut free the kite of rival team.

But these speechless innocent creatures cannot come and speak to us ,

SO I and Peta and even every individual who thinks its an horrible act can join the campaign !!!!

Please do save Nature Otherwise one day ,we will be the creatures left alone !!!!!!!!!!!

PETA India started a petition asking kids never to buy glass-coated string, called “Manja.” And here is the first demonstration against it in Mumbai:
